Fa La La La La... well, almost

On my way to my ceramics class yesterday after work, I had some time to kill so I decided to stop at the Christmas Tree Shop in Waterford. The Christmas Tree Shop, for those who don't know, is a New England "chain"... they pretty much sell anything and everything to clutter up your home. I visit it about once every two months or so, just to check out what I can get.

I spotted these...
Aren't they cute Christmas buckets/tins?? I bought 31 of them. 17 large and 14 small. I'm going to use them to fill with my homemade Christmas treats to give out to my extended family and friends. Oh and Punkie's teachers. Can't forget about them. There were 6 different designs but I only got 4. The other two I didn't care for. And the way "cute" stuff sells out over there, I stocked up. I showed the girls at ceramics and now I have to go back on Monday and grab more. I took some orders. LOL.

Speaking of Christmas treats, I also stocked up on this...

$1.69 for a bar of Ghirardelli baking chocolate is a good buy. I'm going to get more. Stock up for my marathon Christmas baking.

I just got finished reading Sharon's post for today and I wanted to share the weather we are having today since she's saying it's in the triple digits in Cali right now.....

Cold, raw, wet and rainy. Can you see all the raking I have to do soon?! We still have lots of green on our surrounding trees so I'm going to wait on the raking for right now.

Enjoy the weekend! I'm babysitting for a friend of mine for the weekend. Should be fun. Evan just stopped crying. Hopefully I can get him to eat some lunch. Amelia is being a great hostess and sharing her toys.
