We used the Wilton kits because who really has the time and energy to actually bake the gingerbread to make the houses with? Not me! The kits are great too. They come ready to assemble with all kinds of candies and gum drops and a big bag of royal icing - just add water. I was in charge of "construction" and Amelia was in charge of the decorating. She did such a nice job. I helped a little but it was pretty much all her doing.
We also made the gingerbread tree.
Here's all 4 of the houses together.

Couple random pics of my Punkie Pie too. :)

Jen :)
That photo of her peeking over the sunglasses is too cute!
ReplyDeleteThat is always a fun project! I have never seen the gingerbread tree before, that's a great idea! Amilia did a great job on all of it!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! She just gets cuter and cuter. :o)
ReplyDeleteThose house look pretty perfect! Isn't she cute in those glasses, a diva for sure.
ReplyDeletePunkie looks adorable (as usual) peeking out from under those sunglasses. A supermodel in the making.
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to make a gingerbread house but have never done it. Looks like a fun family project. I like that cookie tree.
Ha! I LOVE that last pic of Punkie -- it's just begging for a caption. I can't believe she decorated that gingerbread house -- you better move over, she'll be doing them all by herself before you know it!
