Working through my ever-growing WIPs and I pulled out those jelly roll sampler blocks. Man. They are a bit chaotic looking. Kim had set her top with a wonky block setting. I liked it and I copied her. Don't judge me. I'm not a leader, I'm a total follower. :)
I've completed 8 blocks. And then I ran out of Kona white. Now I have to go get more. So far, I'm liking how it's coming together. This quilt is DEFINITELY for Punkie.
I have the backing for this quilt already. And to do some practicing, I think I'm going to attempt to quilt it myself.
Enjoy your day!

ReplyDeleteThat is the perfect little kid quilt! The colors are so vibrant, and the white really tones down the busy-ness. Good luck quilting it.

ReplyDeleteit is very pretty, I love Kona, and have learned through running out myself.. to buy several yards and keep it marked so I know where it is..
