Like when work takes over your life and you have no time for anything else?? Yeah, that's me right now. Working 10+ hours days (thankfully I'm working from home!) and have no energy to sew, cook dinner, play with my daughter. I hate it. I haven't even had time to really read any blogs. I feel so far behind!
And I feel I have so much to say but don't have time to do it! We have two new babies in the house... sister kittens. I've gotten a little sewing done; not as much as I would have liked... my BFF in Texas had her 2nd baby girl a week ago Friday... SEE! No TIME!
But there is a light at the end of the tunnel. As of next Thursday afternoon, I will be on vacation. And I will be on vacation for TWO WEEKS! I am SO looking forward to that!
So until then, I'll be here. Just busy working. :(

ReplyDeleteEverything is just piling up here - marking, sewing, baking. I have a dance show this weekend so have been practicing for that. Students are writing essays. Christmas presents need to be finished.
I get 2 weeks off, too. But it won't actually be 2 weeks vacation because I'll have so much marking to do before school starts up again. Sigh.
Ditto!I start vacation next friday. But until then...*g*! The days are just too short.

ReplyDeleteSeriously, sorry to hear you're so busy, Jen. It's like that at my work, too, because we're trying to get projects out by the end of the year. You're so lucky to have two weeks off. I'm only taking one, but SO looking forward to it.
Sooo funny -- we share the same vacation schedule (only 4 more days for me woohoo!) and I was just thinking this morning that this happens every year -- we kill ourselves working more than normal, just so we can take two weeks off! You must get some time -- we NEED to see those kitties (hahahaha -- I must have had my mind elsewhere -- I typed we need to see those cookies!!!)
