I had plans for this weekend. Big plans. The three projects that I wanted to work on and complete are sitting, just waiting patiently for tomorrow evening. A solo sew-a-thon. And POOF. It's not going to happen.
I just talked to my Mom (Punk was going over there for the weekend) and she has the flu. :( So no weekend with Grandma for Punk. No solo weekend for me. No sewing.
I am bummed. I was so looking forward to hanging out in my sewing room.
Feel better Mom but feel sorry for me please. :)
Enjoy your day!

So sorry!! I really mean that, it is no fun when sewing plans get interrupted! Try to have a good weekrnd afterall!!
ReplyDeleteJust enjoy what comes your way this weekend and look forward to the next time you'll have a sewing weekend! :0)
ReplyDeleteWhile you're enjoying time with Miss Punkie Pie you can mentally plan some projects. :-)
ReplyDeleteHope your Mom feels better soon.
Hard to plan with all the things that can interupt. Hope the weekend is good anyway!
ReplyDeleteOh no! Pop in a couple of Disney movies for Punk and sew away! However, my 3 yr old boy seems to be just as happy sitting next to me pushing straight pins in and out of a piece of fabric and then back into the pin cushion. Hours of entertainment for the boy! Sorry you don't live closer! They would make great playmates I'm sure despite the age difference. Try to squeeze some in maybe after she goes to bed. Good luck! Jenn
ReplyDeleteI think Punkie needs a corner of your sewing room and a project of her own to work on while you sew!
ReplyDeleteOh dear... but I sure hope your mom feels better real soon.
ReplyDeleteoh noo, maybe Amelia can sew with you on her own projects.xx
ReplyDeleteAwww...poor you, and poor Mom.
ReplyDeleteI bet you could still get a little bit of sewing in. Maybe Punkie would want to do some colouring or hand-sewing while you're at your machine. I saw some really cute printable paper dolls on One Pretty Thing...
Good luck ;)
Maybe Amelia could sew with you. Or maybe she could just do something in your sewing room like draw or something.
ReplyDeleteTotal bummer! Hope your mom feels better soon!
